The Foreigners Department of the Mijas Town Hall works very closely with the University of Malaga throughout the year, collaborating with studies on the phenomenon of the "retired" emigration to Spain. That is why the department was invited to participate in this seminar.

One of the most important talks was about the Law 14/2013 of the 27th of September, on the support to entrepreneurs and their internationalisation by D.ª Marina del Corral Téllez, from the Secretary of State of Emigration and Immigration.

Other talks were given by experts from all over Spain on subjects such as: Residence And Spain As A Retirement Destiny For Foreigners, Residence And The British "Domicile", Residence And Rights, Tax Obligations.

The event took place at the Faculty of Law of the University of Malaga and was organized by the UMA.
